Last week I found an old live tape of my old band Envy playing at UW-Platteville’s CircleFest. I had forgotten this tape had existed and was purely a stroke of luck that I actually decided to put this in a tape player to see what it was. Ha, after years of using CD’s and digital devices, it felt weird using a cassette tape.
The whole 45 minute set - mostly original songs - is on the tape. I’ll dub the whole thing eventually. But, for now, here’s one of our cover songs, “Love Me Two Times” by the Doors.
